Who is in Your Circle of Trust? 4 Resilient Points in Under 300 Words. 6.24.24.

Resilient Quote. "The place we unconsciously strive toward is what ancient philosophers of habit called our telos--our goal, our end. But the telos we live toward is not something we primarily know or believe or think about; rather, our telos is what we want, what we long for, what we crave. It is less an ideal that we have ideas about and more of a vision of 'the good life' that we desire." --James K.A. Smith, You are What you Love: The Spiritual Power of Habit, (Grand Rapids, MI: Brazos Press, 2016) p. 11.

Resilient Point (reflection) from my book, Resilience Unlimited, How to Always Find Your Best Path. In Part 2, Chapter 2, Setting Your Circles of Trust. It was just two years ago that this incident happened in Budapest Hungary. See video below. When my wife was diagnosed with cancer, I called my Mentor and those in my Circle of Trust. Setting your circles of trust will help you to "always find your best path" and be resilient. Like a Mentor, this Coach knew when something was wrong and intervened!

Resilient Vocabulary Word. Anfechtung from German means spiritual distress, anxiety, always falling short and never measuring up. Martin Luther, the great Reformer of the Church, used this word to describe his relationship with God until he placed his faith in Jesus Christ and no longer trusted in his own religious performance. The virtue of faith closed the Meaning Gap to his future. He then had peace.
